Looking Back on my First Trip to Malta

As part of migrating my email I’ve been signing into a lot of websites that I haven’t looked at in years. One of these happened to be gravatar. Logging in revealed my old WordPress blog still alive, and sort of kicking.

This old blog contains a load of old crap but did have a couple of photo posts from visits to Malta. This reminded me that one of the blog posts that has survived every blog migration I’ve ever done is still here on this site.

In it I say not much of anything, just that I am looking forward to the trip to visit a friend from University who had recently moved back home to Malta, and wondering if I should take a camera.

I took some photos

I did take my camera and I saw some amazing sights, the inside of St John’s Co Cathedral in Valletta was one of the highlights.

It was a good trip and I met some good people.

I met some people

On my first day in Malta I went out to lunch with my friend (at the now long gone Paparazzi restaurant in Spinola Bay), and met a lot of people.

Among them was my wife to be. Here she is, on that very day 12 and odd years ago, checking me out.
