Wild Flowers

Today was spent outside. Well, I watched Leeds United do a Leeds United, then the day was spent outside.

After cleaning the bikes, attention turned to harvesting our early potato crop. We dug out the 6 plants and the yield is now drying in the cellar. I’ve no idea if this is a good return or not.

Happy with the growth

Next job was to get the shears out and stop the lawn encroaching on my wild flower bed. I’m really happy with the growth of this bed, I didn’t think much would come of it but from seed to this, since March, very happy. Not much is flowering just yet but there’s a lot just about ready to go.

Also, this greedy knacker made me laugh.
