digital-garden

I don’t want to implement a wiki / digital garden system across the board.

For me the garden as a living work is great, but at some point I want to take parts of it and refine it into an article (blog post) that gets published. I want the posts to have a stable RSS feed.

Take notes in the garden, add to / refine them, identify an essay I want to write, draft it in the garden, once happy move it to the blog.

(Remarks) –> Observations –> Reflections –> Chronicles

Thoughts might start in the microblog as an off-hand remark. They are added to the garden and might be mentioned in the daily note After a while they might end up in an essay

/scratch (trivial observations) Scratchpad, living notebook, constantly changing / growing digital garden. Unstable structure and Urls no feed as would be chaos. This i the meat of the site.

/blog (articles… digest… essays…. Fruitless Ruminations… Futile Reflections) Published essays that have started life in the garden. No reason they can’t have links to and from the garden… Unsure if it would display back links or not

/notes (remarks - incidental remarks) Microblogging posts/stream of consciousness

/bookmarks Link blog … I might ditch this completely… originally it was a l=place for webmention “likes” but now it’s just a link blog… which I’ve never liked. If something is that interesting it’s be mentioned in /notes /journal and will make it’s way into /scratch

/journal - (this is more a traditional blog maybe this should be /blog - trifling / benign accounts, chronicles, narratives, testimonies…. Benign Chronicles ) Daily note from the garden
